multi-stance-audit-fanout

multi-stance-audit-fanout is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from mtarcure/claude-vibe-squad. It costs 69 tokens per session (1,560 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A coordinated review method that sends the same Solidity code to eight separate audit viewpoints and then combines their results. The viewpoints look for different kinds of logic mistakes rather than running automated detectors.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for deeper manual-style review after automated contract scans, especially when the remaining risk is in business logic.
Why use it?
Different reviewers may notice different ways a contract can behave incorrectly, while combining results removes duplicates and exposes linked problems.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00069 $0.01560
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00624
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00312
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00156

Security

Grade A, and why

multi-stance-audit-fanout scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

multi-stance-audit-fanout

Stance-based audit fan-out. Eight specialist personas read the same Solidity source through different mental models; findings are then deduplicated by group key with composite-chain detection. Distinct from evm-audit-flow (tool pipeline) — this fans out human-style review across audit lenses to catch logic bugs no detector finds.

Orchestration model (read first). This is a Chrono-orchestrated fan-out. Workers NEVER self-spawn, launch a model CLI, or dispatch sub-agents — that is Chrono's job. A security-analyst worker does NOT run the eight stances itself. Instead this skill defines (a) the stance roster + briefs, (b) the source bundle, and (c) the dedup/promotion method, so a worker can either surface the fan-out as a need (## NEEDS FROM CHRONO: dispatch the 8 stance packets over <bundle>) or, when acting AS the Chrono-appointed coordinator, dedup the returned stance outputs. Chrono dispatches N stance packets on the board rail; a coordinator role dedups and writes the single consolidated result.

When to use

  • A contract has passed evm-audit-flow static + symbolic passes but still needs logic-bug coverage no detector catches.
  • The target is small enough (≤2k nSLOC) for eight readers to cover end-to-end.
  • You want stance diversity (8 lenses, 1 model) cheaply, before paying for model diversity (a full multi-model fan-out).
  • Skip when a fresh equivalent report already exists; do not duplicate.

Stance roster

Each stance gets the SAME source bundle plus its own role brief. The eight stances are:

  1. vector-scan — sweep known vuln classes (reentrancy, oracle manip, signature replay, storage collision, delegatecall hijack, slippage, sandwich, MEV).
  2. math-precision — rounding direction, decimal scaling, fixed-point overflow, division before multiplication, dust accumulation, precision loss across token decimals.
  3. access-control — role surface, two-step transfer correctness, initializer reentrancy, modifier ordering, bypass via internal-call routing.
  4. economic-security — incentive design, MEV extraction, fee accrual paths, redemption griefing, donation attacks, rebalance arbitrage, liquidation race conditions.
  5. execution-trace — pick the top 3 fund-flow paths, single-step from entry to settlement, note every state read/write/external call along the way; chase reachability not patterns.
  6. invariant — derive invariants the protocol should hold (totalSupply == sum(balances), k for AMMs, collateralization ratio, share-to-asset monotonicity), then look for paths that break each one.
  7. periphery — ERC-20/721/777 quirks, fee-on-transfer, rebasing, missing return values, safeTransfer gaps, permit front-running, callback re-entry surfaces.
  8. first-principles — ignore checklists; ask "what is this contract trying to do, and what would I do as the attacker if I had infinite time?" Capture novel/unnamed bug classes.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

multi-stance-audit-fanout is a skill published in the GitHub repository mtarcure/claude-vibe-squad (165 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 69 tokens to every session and 1,560 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-19.
