What is buy-back-your-time?

A time-management framework from Dan Martell’s book Buy Back Your Time. It sorts tasks by their value and whether someone else can do them, then uses outsourcing to free time for higher-value work.

Calculating the value of your working time, finding tasks to outsource, preparing work for assistants or freelancers, and refocusing on work only you can do.

It helps when a person is busy but their income or progress is not increasing. The framework makes it easier to decide what to delegate, simplify, automate, or stop doing.

第一步：算你的真实时薪

年收入 ÷ 年工作小时数。如果你做副业年赚 10 万，花了 1000 小时，时薪 = $100。

第二步：识别可外包任务

列出你这周做的所有事，按两个维度分类：

只有你能做	做（核心）	简化或砍掉
别人也能做	培训后委托	立即外包

第三步：外包

虚拟助理：邮件、日程、客服

不是放假——是去做你每小时值 $100 的事。

三个心理障碍

「我自己做更快」 —— 第一次是。第十次不是。外包需要前期投入，回报在后期。
「外包太贵了」 —— 想想你的时薪。你花 2 小时做一件 $20 就能外包的事 = 你亏了。
「别人做不好」 —— 那是你没说清楚。写清楚标准，第一次检查，之后放手。

一句话总结

你的时间值钱，别拿它换零钱。买回你的时间，然后把它花在只有你能做的、最有价值的事上。
