A workflow for creating or updating detailed, wiki-style documentation for a software codebase. A codebase is the collection of source files that make up a software project.

It is for documenting a new project, updating documentation after code changes, designing a documentation table of contents, and building an overview of an unfamiliar repository.

It gives documentation work a complete sequence: understand the repository, plan its contents, write pages, validate them, and summarize the result. It uses evidence from the code and checks diagrams and document structure.
