awsclaw-s3

awsclaw-s3 is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from necatiarslan/awsclaw. It costs 67 tokens per session (3,876 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A set of instructions for managing Amazon S3, an online storage service for files, buckets, and their settings. It uses awsclaw to work with stored objects and bucket configuration.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to list, upload, download, copy, delete, or query files, and to inspect or change settings such as encryption, versioning, backups, logging, and website access.
Why use it?
It provides one way to inspect and manage S3 storage without manually handling each storage operation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00067 $0.03876
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.01938
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00775
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00388

Security

Grade A, and why

awsclaw-s3 scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Awsclaw S3

Manage Amazon S3 buckets and objects through the awsclaw S3Tool.

When to Use This Skill

Use this skill when the user:

  • Asks about S3 buckets or objects
  • Wants to list, upload, download, copy, or delete S3 objects
  • Needs to inspect bucket configuration (encryption, versioning, lifecycle, etc.)
  • Wants to query CSV/JSON/Parquet files with S3 Select SQL
  • Wants to open the interactive S3 Explorer view
  • Needs to check bucket policies, notifications, or replication settings
  • Wants to create or delete buckets or update bucket settings

Tool: S3Tool

Execute S3 commands including bucket configuration. ALWAYS provide params object.

Commands

ListObjectVersions

List object versions in a versioning-enabled bucket.

{ "command": "ListObjectVersions", "params": { "Bucket": "my-bucket", "Prefix": "data/" } }

Parameters:

Parameter Type Required Description
Bucket string Yes Bucket name
Prefix string No Filter objects by prefix
Delimiter string No Delimiter for grouping
MaxKeys number No Maximum versions to return
KeyMarker string No Key marker for version pagination

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
