In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when building, editing, or reviewing NAP web pages, panels, dialogs, controls, and frontend styling.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00078 $0.01285
Opus 5 $0.00039 $0.00642
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00257
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00128

Security

Grade A, and why

nap-design-system scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

NAP Design System

NAP's web UI is React + Vite + TailwindCSS (v3) + shadcn/ui, themed by the shared @neutree-ai/theme package. Every color is a semantic OKLCH token, not a raw Tailwind palette color. Follow this skill to produce UI that matches the existing app instead of generic AI-looking output.

How to use this skill

  • Read this file for the hard rules and the quick reference.
  • Read references/tokens.md before choosing any color.
  • Read references/components.md before hand-rolling a control — a shadcn component or variant almost certainly already exists.
  • Read references/patterns.md for surfaces, glass panels, icons, dark mode, typography, and the recurring layout conventions.

The hard rules (do not violate)

  1. Colors must be semantic tokens. Use bg-card, text-muted-foreground, border-border, bg-primary, text-warning, etc. Never raw palette colors (bg-slate-800, text-blue-500, #1e293b) and never inline style={{ color: ... }}. Tokens carry light/dark automatically; raw colors break dark mode and the theme.
  2. Icons are lucide-react, never emoji. Emoji must never stand in for an icon. Import the named icon component (import { Plus } from "lucide-react").
  3. No unilateral component swaps. Reuse @/components/ui/*; don't pull in a new UI library or reinvent a button/dialog/tooltip that already exists.
  4. Compose classes with cn() from @/lib/utils (clsx + a customized tailwind-merge) so overrides merge correctly. Don't string-concatenate classes.
  5. Tune opacity, not hue. Need a softer/stronger shade of a token? Use the alpha modifier: bg-primary/90, bg-success/15, border-info/30. Don't reach for a different palette color.
  6. Polish in place. When you add a region, finish it to production quality (spacing, states, dark mode) rather than leaving a rough draft.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
