competitive-teardown

competitive-teardown is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from nexu-io/html-anything. It costs 32 tokens per session (948 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A framework for turning research about competing products into a report that supports product decisions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to compare two to six competitors, map their positions, build feature and pricing comparisons, note user-experience patterns, and identify opportunities.
Why use it?
It organizes scattered information about competitors, features, prices, strengths, and weaknesses so a team can see where it stands and what to do next.

About the project

html-anything is a local AI-assisted HTML editor in which coding-agent command-line tools create documents such as articles, presentations, posters, prototypes, and reports from reusable templates. People use it to produce HTML and export it to services such as WeChat, X, and Zhihu or to HTML and PNG files. The catalogue entries are the skills and instructions that define its output surfaces and workflows.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00032 $0.00948
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00474
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00190
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00095

Measured 10d ago against content hash 29b7cd84a1be, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

competitive-teardown scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

  2. Executive takeaway: 3 条最重要判断, 每条必须包含 "so what"。
  3. Positioning map:
  6. Pricing / packaging read:
  7. UX / messaging notes:
  8. Opportunity windows: 3 个机会窗口, 每个包含 why now、target segment、first move、risk。
  9. Recommended moves:

  • assets/war-room-grid.html: 默认风格。

缺失信息用 "not found in source" 或 "unknown" 标注。

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
