Instructions
When the user invokes /new-project, follow these steps:
1. Gather Project Information
Use AskUserQuestion to collect:
- Project name — What is this project called?
- Description — One-line summary
- Repository URLs and local paths — Any existing repos? For each, ask for the GitHub URL and the local checkout path (default:
~/workspace/<repo-name>). The local path is critical — it enables explorer agents to deep-dive the actual codebase when planning features, without needing to clone. - Tags — Categories like
mattermost,personal,plugin,ai,web, etc.
2. Generate the Slug
Create a URL-safe slug from the project name (lowercase, hyphens, no special chars).
3. Run the CLI
Use the planning CLI to scaffold the project. This creates the directory structure, project.yaml, context.md, and updates the registry in a single command:

Each --repos entry uses url|local_path format. Omit --repos if there are no repos. Omit --tags if there are no tags.
4. Confirm and Offer Next Steps
Tell the user the project has been created and ask if they want to:

/research) - Do something else
