Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00041 | $0.00922 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00020 | $0.00461 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00008 | $0.00184 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00092 |
Grade A, and why
update-repo scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 87 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Iterate on the planning repository itself — add skills, update templates, modify hooks, refine CLAUDE.md, or evolve the repo structure.
Instructions
When the user invokes /update-repo, follow these steps:
1. Understand the Change
Ask the user (or infer from conversation context) what they want to change. Common categories:
- New skill: Add a new slash command
- Update skill: Modify an existing skill's behavior
- Template change: Add or update a scaffolding template
- Hook change: Add or modify Claude Code hooks in
.claude/settings.json - Structure change: Modify the repo's directory conventions or file formats
- CLAUDE.md update: Update agent instructions, rules, or workflows
- AGENTS.md update: Update universal agent instructions
2. Read Current State
Before making changes, read the relevant files to understand what exists:
- For new/updated skills: read
.claude/skills/directory listing and the relevantSKILL.mdfile(s) - For template changes: read
templates/directory listing and the relevant template(s) - For hook changes: read
.claude/settings.json - For structure changes: read
CLAUDE.md(especially the Repository Structure and File Format Conventions sections) - For CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md changes: read the full file
3. Propose the Change
Before modifying anything, present the proposed change to the user:
- What file(s) will be created or modified
- A summary of the change
- Any ripple effects (e.g., "adding this skill means we should also update the skills table in CLAUDE.md")
Wait for user approval before proceeding.
4. Implement the Change
Make the changes. For each type:
New skill:
- Create
.claude/skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.mdwith frontmatter (name, description) following the pattern of existing skills - Add the skill to the Available Skills table in
CLAUDE.md - Update
AGENTS.mdif the skill is relevant to non-Claude agents - Update
README.mdskills table
Updated skill:
- Edit the
SKILL.mdfile in.claude/skills/<skill-name>/ - Update CLAUDE.md if the skill's purpose or interface changed
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

update-repo is a skill published in the GitHub repository nickmisasi/planner (5 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 41 tokens to every session and 922 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
