houmi-mcp: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/verify/SKILL.md

verify is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from NinjaScoutZ/houmi-mcp. It costs 19 tokens per session (245 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for checking whether implementation work is complete using build diagnostics, a stack check, and recorded evidence. A build is the process of turning source code into a runnable application.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing plans, running the project's build, checking changed code for issues, and closing a tracked work item only when the checks pass.
Why use it?
It prevents unfinished or failing work from being marked complete without machine-checkable proof.

This is NinjaScoutZ/houmi-mcp's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on houmi-mcp itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything houmi-mcp configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00019 $0.00245
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.00122
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00049
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00024

Security

Grade A, and why

verify scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/verify — Proof & Close

Verify work is complete with machine-checkable evidence.

Plan Review Verification (when reviewing a plan)

Before approving or presenting a plan, verify:

  1. Every [MODIFY] section has: Current State, What Changes, Why, Blast Radius.
  2. Every proposed field/type change cites the actual line number from source.
  3. No "Ensure X" without specifics.
  4. LEDGER cards have machine-checkable acceptance commands.
  5. If renaming: blast radius analysis covers all importing files.

Code Verification (when reviewing implementation)

  1. Run stack grill: houmi_stack_grill(target_path="frontend_rework/src").
  2. Run build: execute cd frontend_rework && npm run build and check exit code.
  3. Close card with evidence: houmi_ledger(action="close_card", args={"card_id": "...", "evidence": "build clean, grill 0 issues"}).
  4. If issues found → do NOT close. Fix first or add new LEDGER card.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

verify is a skill published in the GitHub repository NinjaScoutZ/houmi-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 10d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 19 tokens to every session and 245 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
