landing-optimize

landing-optimize is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from NmadeleiDev/landingforge. It costs 134 tokens per session (4,491 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A landing-page conversion-rate optimization review for an existing website, local file, or live URL.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect a rendered landing page, produce a CRO report, and create a prioritized list of conversion fixes.
Why use it?
It finds conversion problems and unclear wording without requiring the full landing-page creation process or rewriting the page.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00134 $0.04491
Opus 5 $0.00067 $0.02246
Sonnet 5 $0.00027 $0.00898
Haiku 4.5 $0.00013 $0.00449

Security

Grade A, and why

landing-optimize scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 194 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Running an lp-* agent on Codex. Codex has no parallel subagent tool, and this pipeline is sequential and gated anyway. Wherever this file says to spawn or run an agent inline, it means: read .codex/agents/<name>.md and follow its full body verbatim as that phase's operating instructions, one phase at a time.

Landing Page Conversion Optimization (CRO Pass)

Run the LandingForge conversion axis (35% of the scorecard) as a standalone pass over any existing landing page — a built .landingforge/<slug>/site/ project, a local HTML file, or a live URL. It spawns the lp-cro agent (the same agent landing-build phase 6 uses), which applies the conversion anti-pattern linter (R1–R13) and the specificity linter against the page's detected register, then writes cro-report.md and a prioritized conversion fix list.

This is a thin wrapper, not the full engine. It is the phase-6 CRO surface lifted out of the pipeline so it is usable on its own — point it at an already-built page (yours or a competitor's) and get the conversion findings without running strategy → copy → design → build first. It does not rewrite the page; it emits a report and a ranked fix list you can hand to landing-copy, landing-build, or a human.

Path resolution. All references/… and .codex/agents/… paths below are relative to the plugin root ({{LANDINGFORGE_ROOT}}, the directory containing plugin.json), not this skill's own folder — references/ and .codex/agents/ live at the plugin root because the knowledge base is the one shared brain every LandingForge skill and agent reads. If a bare path like references/conversion-principles.md does not resolve from the current directory, prefix it with {{LANDINGFORGE_ROOT}}/ (e.g. {{LANDINGFORGE_ROOT}}/agents/lp-cro.md).

One axis, same rubric. This skill scores only the Conversion axis, against the exact linter rules (references/conversion-principles.md §10, R1–R13) that references/scorecard.md's Conversion checks (C1–C13) and the lp-scorer contract consume. A page's Conversion findings here are therefore directly comparable to its Conversion sub-score under landing-critique or landing-build phase 8 — there is one CRO engine, several entry points. For the full four-axis audit (Visual + Discoverability + Craft too) use landing-critique; for the full gated build use landing-build. This skill is the conversion slice only.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

landing-optimize is a skill published in the GitHub repository NmadeleiDev/landingforge (1 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 134 tokens to every session and 4,491 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
