hwp

hwp is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from NomaDamas/k-skill. It costs 49 tokens per session (349 once invoked), scanned C, a copy of animal-pharmacy-search, MIT.

A document-processing skill for HWP and HWPX files, formats used by Hancom Word. It uses kordoc for reading, extracting, comparing, and converting these documents.

In plain words
What is it for?
Extracting JSON or form fields, creating Markdown from HWPX files, comparing document versions, and converting Markdown back to HWPX. Binary editing requires rhwp-edit.
Why use it?
It avoids manually inspecting binary word-processing files and helps keep sensitive or irreversible actions under user control.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00049 $0.00349
Opus 5 $0.00024 $0.00175
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00070
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00035

Measured 4d ago against content hash f64f7baba85c, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade C, and why

hwp scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Hidden instructionshighPrompt injection

Directives inside HTML comments, invisible characters or bidirectional overrides are read by the model and not by the person reviewing the file.

What it actually says

hwp

Get the full instructions (required first step)

Run this and follow its output as the primary instructions for this skill:

npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 instruct hwp

The CLI detects the current runtime (Dolshoi vault/CloakBrowser vs generic) and prints only the applicable instructions, always up to date. Helper files bundled with the CLI are listed by:

npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 files hwp

If npx is unavailable, install Node.js 18+ or follow https://github.com/NomaDamas/k-skill#readme, or read the source instructions at https://github.com/NomaDamas/k-skill/blob/main/hwp/instruction.md.

Hard rules even without the CLI

  • Never execute payment, message/email delivery, final submission, cancellation, or public posting without the user's explicit approval immediately beforehand.
  • Never ask for, print, or store plaintext credentials in chat, files, or shell arguments.
  • Never bypass legal, physical-presence, CAPTCHA, identity-proofing, or electronic-signature boundaries.
Files

What ships with it

2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
