Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00052 | $0.02706 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00021 | $0.01082 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00541 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00271 |
Grade A, and why
nw-code-design-oo scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 188 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
OO Code Design
Design-time anti-smell catalog for object-oriented work. The architect loads this
to design smell-free domain types and module boundaries BEFORE DISTILL authors
ATs; the crafter loads the same SSOT for the execution mechanics that enforce it.
This file is the WHAT-to-design subset. nw-tdd-methodology owns RED→GREEN
verification; nw-refactor owns behavior-preserving refactoring. Repository
runner and hooks own build, test, and commit execution.
Object Calisthenics
Ten rules for the OO core (Agile Technical Practices Distilled, "Object Calisthenics – 10 Steps to Better Software Design"). Inside the hexagon, domain objects and application services, they are strict. Breaking one is a conscious design decision recorded in the diagnostic with the smell it causes, its benefit and its cost; an unrecorded break is accidental complexity.
| # | Rule | Why | Smell it prevents |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Only one level of indentation per method | One thing per method; small reusable units | Long Method |
| 2 | Don't use the ELSE keyword | One main lane with guard clauses; polymorphism (State, Strategy) or Null Object for the alternatives | Switch Statements, Long Method |
| 3 | Wrap all primitives and strings | No primitive or string as a method argument (except constructors) or return value; each concept gets a type that attracts its behaviour and makes wrong state unrepresentable | Primitive Obsession, Shotgun Surgery |
| 4 | First-class collections | No collection as an argument (except constructors); a class that holds a collection holds nothing else; filters and joins live there | Primitive Obsession, Feature Envy |
| 5 | One dot per line | Talk only to your immediate collaborators (Law of Demeter): self, owned fields, parameters and objects the method creates. The rule is about navigating a collaborator's internals, not LINQ, streams or fluent builders | Message Chains, Inappropriate Intimacy |
| 6 | Don't abbreviate | Names reveal intention; a name you want to abbreviate signals a unit doing too much | Large Class |
| 7 | Keep all entities small | Each method does one thing and each class holds one responsibility; size follows from cohesion, never from splitting code to meet a line count | Large Class, Long Method |
| 8 | No classes with more than two instance variables | High cohesion; a third field signals a missing collaborator | Large Class, Data Clumps |
| 9 | No getters/setters/properties | Tell, don't ask: the decision lives on the object that owns the data | Data Class, Feature Envy |
| 10 | All classes must have state | No static utility classes or stateless "managers"; behaviour has a home | Feature Envy, Middle Man |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

nw-code-design-oo is a skill published in the GitHub repository nWave-ai/nWave (633 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 52 tokens to every session and 2,706 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-03.
