asset-manager

asset-manager is a skill for Claude Code from octavehq/lfgtm. It costs 251 tokens per session (7,846 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A service for publishing and managing hosted HTML sites, documents, and file bundles. It controls visibility, sharing links, versions, rollbacks, access requests, visit statistics, and a registry of published assets.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to upload files, publish or hide assets, choose owner-only, workspace, or public access, create share links, restore earlier versions, manage vanity URLs, and view visits.
Why use it?
It keeps published files organized and lets you control who can open them without losing track of versions or previously shared links.

Skill for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT variable. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; names the AskUserQuestion tool.

Runs only inside its plugin — its command needs a path that Claude Code sets for a plugin’s own hooks and for nothing else. Install the plugin, not this.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00251 $0.07846
Opus 5 $0.00125 $0.03923
Sonnet 5 $0.00050 $0.01569
Haiku 4.5 $0.00025 $0.00785

Security

Grade A, and why

asset-manager scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 4 executable files (scripts/download-artifact.sh, scripts/update-artifact.sh, scripts/upload-artifact.sh, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

/octave:asset-manager - Publish & Manage Hosted Assets

Manage the full lifecycle of hosted assets on the Octave assets service: upload local sources (HTML sites, markdown, file bundles), control who can see them, create and manage share links, and keep a persistent registry of everything published.

The Privacy Model (one ladder)

Every asset has exactly one privacy tier — each is strictly more open than the last:

privacy Who can open the link
only_me The owner only (plus anyone given an explicit share link)
workspace (default) Owner + workspace members — a teammate opening the link verifies their work email once, then sees everything their team has shared
public Anyone with the URL

Four more facts complete the model:

  • status is a separate axis: published (default; discoverable in the workspace gallery) vs unpublished (hidden, but still viewable via preview/workspace links). Status never affects the privacy tier.
  • "Externally shared" is not a tier. Share links (emails/domains + verification) work on any non-public asset; the API reports the derived externallyShared: true on an asset that has at least one share link. Creating or revoking shares never changes privacy.
  • Locked-out viewers can knock. A code-verified visitor who hits an asset they can't open (workspace or share flow) can request access; those requests land in the owner's inbox (see Access Requests workflow).
  • Only public unfurls. Link-preview cards (Slack/LinkedIn/X) render only for public website assets opened via siteUrl: crawlers cannot pass the workspace email wall, and share links are crawler-blocked by design. Unfurl fetches never count in visit stats. The service absolutizes a relative og:image and injects twitter:card at serve time, but it cannot invent missing tags or a missing image file — that's the unfurl check in the publish workflow below (rules in social-meta.md).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

asset-manager is a skill published in the GitHub repository octavehq/lfgtm (11 stars, last pushed 21d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 251 tokens to every session and 7,846 once invoked, about $0.0013 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
