Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00038 $0.00806
Opus 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00322
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00161
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00081

Security

Grade A, and why

octotrip-flight-search scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Search Parameters

Call the search tool with:

Parameter Required Default Description
origin yes -- City, airport name, or IATA code (e.g. "Frankfurt", "JFK")
destination yes -- City, airport name, or IATA code
departure_date yes -- YYYY-MM-DD or natural-language date
return_date no -- Set for round-trip, omit for one-way
adults no 1 Number of adults (1-9)
children no 0 Children aged 2-11 (0-9)
infants no 0 Infants under 2 (0-9)
trip_class no "Y" "Y" for economy, "C" for business
currency no "EUR" ISO 4217 code (EUR, USD, GBP, etc.)
locale no "en" Language code (en, de, etc.)

Handling Results

Results are ranked by price within each stop-count group (direct flights first, then 1-stop, etc.).

Each result includes:

  • airline, flight_numbers, stops, total_duration_minutes
  • outbound and return with departure/arrival times, airports, and per-leg details
  • price and currency
  • baggage info
  • booking_url -- a link the user can open to book
  • tags -- e.g. "direct", "convenient_ticket"

Present results by highlighting the cheapest direct option first. If there are no direct flights, show the cheapest 1-stop option. Always include the price, airline, duration, and departure/arrival times.

Results and booking links expire after approximately 15 minutes. If the user wants to book later, run a fresh search.

Handling Errors

  • disambiguation_needed: Multiple airports match the input (e.g. "London" returns STN and LHR). Present the options to the user and retry with their choice.
  • airport_not_found: Try an IATA code or more specific name.
  • no_results: Suggest different dates or a nearby airport.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
