seo-programmatic

seo-programmatic is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from oegeyilmaz9/seo-aeo-geo-ultimate. It costs 51 tokens per session (998 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A method for planning or reviewing large sets of template-based web pages built from data, such as location pages, product pages, or other pages generated from records.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assess source data, page templates, content differences, URLs, canonical pages, internal links, localization, quality checks, and staged rollouts.
Why use it?
It helps prevent repetitive, misleading, low-value pages, excessive URLs, and indexing problems. It checks whether each page serves a distinct reader need and has reliable supporting data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00051 $0.00998
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00499
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00200
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00100

Security

Grade A, and why

seo-programmatic scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Programmatic SEO

Purpose

Assess or plan scalable page systems without creating index bloat, misleading content, or unmaintainable templates. The unit of review is the page system: input data, template logic, user task, content differentiation, URL/canonical rules, quality controls, and rollout behavior.

Read references/scaled-page-protocol.md before approving a template or rollout. Read editorial-vs-indexability.md before deriving publication or search status from record fields. Read corpus-propagation-contract.md before changing a canonical, redirect, sitemap, discovery, locale, or whole-corpus rule.

Input gate

Require the page-system purpose, target reader/task, data dictionary and provenance, source update cadence, template/rendered examples, locale/market rules, canonical/indexability policy, internal linking logic, quality owner, and proposed rollout. Do not infer product facts, locations, prices, availability, comparisons, or user demand from keyword lists alone.

Workflow

  1. Model the user value and product decision. Explain what distinct decision/task each page can satisfy, what evidence or data makes it different from nearby variants, and the explicit product-owner end state for the bounded corpus.
  2. Inspect inputs and template. Verify data ownership, freshness, null/error handling, sourced claims, locale logic, entity identity, URLs, canonical behavior, structured data eligibility, and rendering.
  3. Sample for failure modes. Review representative normal, sparse-data, conflicting-data, locale, outlier, and deprecation cases. Look for thin duplication, made-up combinations, contradictory claims, inaccessible values, or non-functional internal paths.
  4. Separate the two axes. Record editorial readiness independently from search status/indexability. Never derive noindex from an editorial flag alone. A unique canonical-owner page follows the explicit indexing policy; an owner-linked duplicate source follows the approved redirect/canonical map. noindex requires explicit product policy or concrete risk evidence.
  5. Propagate the contract. Apply the decision consistently across detail pages, search/browse results, hubs, discovery links, sitemap, hreflang, and an optional maintained llms.txt, plus feeds/schema/notifications when used. Verify a shared resolver or corpus rule over its full affected route class or a justified closed population.
  6. Define publication gates. State required fields, minimum useful differentiation, source freshness policy, human/editorial exceptions, explicit index/noindex/redirect/withhold conditions, QA population, monitoring, and removal/rollback behavior. Do not use word counts or static “unique-content percentages” as the gate.
  7. Stage or apply the approved corpus decision. Prefer an owned reversible cohort when the end state is undecided. When the product owner explicitly approves a whole-corpus end state, do not shrink it to a sample; retain canonical, duplicate, safety, legal, privacy, and access constraints. Route production implementation through seo-action-plan.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
