Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00162 | $0.02403 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00081 | $0.01202 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00032 | $0.00481 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00016 | $0.00240 |
Grade A, and why
viral-x-hooks-v2 scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 215 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Viral X Hooks
Most hooks fail because writers reach for what feels clever instead of what actually stops the scroll. The result: "Let me tell you about..." openers, rhetorical questions that answer themselves, and polished corporate buildup that screams AI.
The hooks that actually break through are built from patterns — specific structural moves used by creators who hit 100k+ views consistently. This skill pulls from a library of 140+ of those patterns, matches them to the content at hand, and produces 3-5 variations so the user can pick.
The hook has one job: stop the scroll in under 2 seconds and earn the "show more" click. Never sacrifice the body of the post for a flashy hook.
the core job
Turn a topic, angle, or rough draft into 3-5 hook options, each using a different proven pattern from the swipefile. Each hook comes with the pattern name and a one-line note on when that pattern works best.
Output format: 3-5 hook variations, each labeled with the pattern used and a brief "use this if..." note. Includes a recommendation for the strongest option.
before starting: gather context
STOP. Do not write any hooks until every field below is confirmed with the user. Ask for any missing field before proceeding. Even if the user pasted a draft or topic, still confirm these inputs.
- Topic / source material — What's the post about? Paste the topic, the draft, the argument, or a URL. (Required — without this there's nothing to hook.)
- The angle — What's the specific take or argument? Not "AI" — "why most AI SDRs will fail in 2026". (Required — generic angles get generic hooks.)
- Audience — Who's this for? Founders? Marketers? Designers? (Shapes which patterns hit.)
- Content type — How-to, critique, case study, data breakdown, prediction, cultural commentary, or something else? (Maps to pattern families — see step 2.)
- Emotional goal — What should the reader feel in 2 seconds? Shock, intrigue, FOMO, discovery, authority envy, validation? (Narrows to 2-3 pattern families.)
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

viral-x-hooks-v2 is a skill published in the GitHub repository olelehmann1337/workshop-plugin (7 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 162 tokens to every session and 2,403 once invoked, about $0.0008 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
