observability-audit-trail

observability-audit-trail is a skill for Claude Code from ololand-ai/ololand-plugins. It costs 76 tokens per session (1,186 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An audit-trail guide for recording what OloLand's agents did during a run and how generated documents relate to that run. It covers run records, individual steps, artifact lineage, role-based approval, and tamper-evident exports.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to investigate an agent run, review tool calls and errors, trace a report back to its source run, or prepare an export for compliance review.
Why use it?
It makes an automated analysis easier to inspect, replay, and defend when someone needs to know which instructions, tools, models, and outputs were involved.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00076 $0.01186
Opus 5 $0.00038 $0.00593
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00237
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00119

Security

Grade A, and why

observability-audit-trail scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Observability Audit Trail

OloLand's M1+M2 observability surface is what turns the marketing claim "verifiable end-to-end" from aspiration into shipping artifact. Every agent run produces immutable rows in agent_runs and agent_spans. Every generated artifact (CIM, IC memo, forensic PDF) gets a lineage row in output_artifacts. Every regulator-grade export is a tarball whose SHA-256 is recorded at generation time.

What is captured

Table What Use
agent_runs One row per top-level agent invocation. Captures root_prompt_snapshot, skill_pack_snapshot, subagent_definition_snapshot, model + harness versions, tokens, cost, status, grader verdict. The unit of replay. The unit of cost accounting. The unit the regulator wants.
agent_spans One row per observable step inside a run — model call, tool call, compaction event, SSE event. Captures parent_span_id (tree structure), tool_name, model_version, latency_ms, is_error. The "show me what actually happened" surface.
output_artifacts One row per artifact produced (CIM PDF, IC memo, forensic screen). Captures content hash, lineage to the producing run. Tamper-evidence on generated deliverables.
regulator_exports Tarball metadata — framework, window, deal scope, SHA-256, signed-URL, expiry. The deliverable for regulators / compliance reviewers.

Role gating

Read paths (list_agent_runs, get_agent_run, list_agent_spans, get_grader_verdict, get_regulator_export) are tenant-scoped — any active member of the company can call them.

Write paths (replay_agent_run, request_regulator_export) require the admin or compliance role in the calling user's CompanyMember row, OR one of the privileged permissions (agent_runs, manage_agent_runs, replay_agent_runs, regulator_exports, manage_regulator_exports, compliance_exports). Superusers bypass the check globally.

Surfaced as error_code: "insufficient_role" on the MCP rail. If a user hits this and shouldn't, they need their company admin to grant the role on CompanyMembernot a new API key.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
