risk-analysis

risk-analysis is a skill for Claude Code from ololand-ai/ololand-plugins. It costs 48 tokens per session (690 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A structured framework for finding and rating risks in mergers and acquisitions. It covers commercial, financial, legal, operational, and people-related risks, including how each could affect the deal financially.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review a target company, build a risk matrix, assess risk severity, and estimate possible financial consequences. It is also useful for checking industry-specific issues in software, manufacturing, and healthcare deals.
Why use it?
It turns a broad risk review into a consistent checklist, so important issues are less likely to be missed and risks are not left as vague narrative warnings.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00048 $0.00690
Opus 5 $0.00024 $0.00345
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00138
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00069

Security

Grade A, and why

risk-analysis scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Risk Analysis Framework

Risk Taxonomy: 311 Risk Factors Across 67 Categories

Commercial Risks

Market position, competitive dynamics, customer concentration (top 10 revenue share), revenue sustainability (recurring vs one-time), pricing power, channel dependency, regulatory exposure, supply chain, geographic concentration.

Industry overlays:

  • SaaS: NDR decay, CAC payback, cohort economics, deferred revenue cliff, professional services dependency
  • Manufacturing: LIFO liquidation, deferred maintenance, bill-and-hold, obsolete inventory
  • Healthcare: Reimbursement dependency, regulatory risk, M&A integration complexity

Financial Risks

Liquidity (current ratio, quick ratio), debt capacity (leverage, coverage), profitability (margin trends, quality), revenue quality (recognition policy, deferrals), working capital (DSO/DIO/DPO trends), off-balance-sheet items.

Legal Risks

Contract enforceability, change-of-control provisions, IP ownership, pending/threatened litigation, compliance (FCPA, GDPR, SOX), environmental liability, employee agreements.

HR Risks

Key person dependency, management depth, retention risk (turnover trends), compensation benchmarking, cultural integration, union exposure, pending employment claims.

Technology Risks

Architecture (monolith vs microservices), technical debt, security posture, scalability constraints, platform dependency, open-source licensing, data privacy compliance.

Forensic Quality of Earnings

When evaluating financial risks, apply these deterministic tests:

  1. Beneish M-Score (8-variable model): DSRI, GMI, AQI, SGI, DEPI, SGAI, TATA, LVGI. Score below -1.78 = likely manipulation.
  2. Benford's Law: First-digit distribution test on transaction data. Chi-square goodness-of-fit. Deviations signal potential fraud.
  3. EBITDA Bridge: Verify every add-back. Non-recurring items must be truly non-recurring.
  4. Revenue Quality Deep Dive: Recognition timing, bill-and-hold, channel stuffing indicators.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
