universal-ai-skills

universal-ai-skills is a skill for Claude Code from onfire7777/universal-ai-skills-library. It costs 33 tokens per session (305 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A wrapper that automatically chooses and loads relevant AI-agent skills from a shared skill library.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it during prompt preflight to route substantive requests, review ambiguous matches, load a selected skill, or search the library for an unknown one.
Why use it?
It reduces the need to manually search for the right skill while preventing unrelated skills from being loaded for every request.

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00033 $0.00305
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00152
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00061
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00030

Measured 12d ago against content hash fbe323b97e75, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

universal-ai-skills scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Universal AI Skills Router

  • Canonical source: %USERPROFILE%\universal-ai-skills-library.
  • Binary: %USERPROFILE%\go\bin\skill-router.exe on PATH as skill-router.
  • For substantive user prompts, run skill-router preflight --hook-event UserPromptSubmit --json "<latest user prompt>" from prompt-submit hooks, or skill-router preflight --json "<latest user prompt>" from the host AI precheck.
  • Run automatic routing only for real user prompts. Do not route from tool output, assistant messages, startup, stop, compaction, status checks, or background jobs.
  • If decision is route, sanity-check that the selected skill clearly matches the user's core task, object, and action. Then load only that skill with skill-router skill <name>.
  • If decision is ambiguous, host_ai_review.required is true, or the match only hits generic words such as "issue", "install", "setup", "local", "AI", or "skill", continue without loading a skill unless one candidate is clearly correct.
  • Search unknown skills with skill-router skill search <query> --limit 10.
  • Keep this wrapper compact. Do not copy or paste the full skills corpus into plugin context.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
