Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00000 | $0.02182 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00000 | $0.00873 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00000 | $0.00436 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00000 | $0.00218 |
Grade A, and why
sap-backpack-tools scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 190 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Backpack Exchange Tools
Use this skill for sap_backpack_* tools: Backpack Exchange CeFi market data,
collateral, securities, borrow/lend, and (with API credentials) account and
trading operations over the Backpack REST API.
First Steps
- All market-data tools are FREE — call directly, no x402 challenge. Signed account/trading tools are BUILDER tier.
- Symbols are
BASE_QUOTEspot (SOL_USDC) andBASE_QUOTE_PERPperps (SOL_USDC_PERP). Stock RFQ markets use
_USDC_RFQ(e.g.AAPL.US_USDC_RFQ); stock spot books appear in /markets withrwaMarketType: "STOCK". - For stock trading check the session first:
sap_backpack_get_market_sessions(US_EQUITIES_PRE_MARKET / REGULAR / POST_MARKET / OVERNIGHT, timezone America/New_York). - Signed tools need a Backpack API key in the local SAP MCP profile config
(
config.backpack.apiKeys); without credentials they return the structuredbackpack_credentials_requirederror.
Tools — full parameter reference
sap_backpack_get_markets (FREE)
| Param | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| marketType | enum | no | SPOT or PERP filter |
Returns 189+ markets: symbol, base/quote symbols, tickSize, stepSize, filters, rwaMarketType (STOCK for tokenized-stock order books).
sap_backpack_get_market (FREE)
| Param | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| symbol | string | yes | exact market symbol, e.g. SOL_USDC |
Resolved client-side by filtering the full markets list — the upstream

sap_backpack_get_ticker (FREE)
| Param | Type | Required |
|---|---|---|
| symbol | string | yes |
Returns 24h snapshot: firstPrice, lastPrice, high, low,
priceChange, priceChangePercent, volume, quoteVolume, trades.
NOTE: the live ticker has NO bid/ask fields.
sap_backpack_get_tickers (FREE)
No parameters. Returns 24h tickers for every market (including stock perps
like SPY.US_USDC_PERP).
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sap-backpack-tools is a skill published in the GitHub repository OOBE-PROTOCOL/sap-mcp (3 stars, last pushed 8d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 2,182 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-16.
