aipcc-cve-report

aipcc-cve-report is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from opendatahub-io/ai-helpers. It costs 71 tokens per session (3,021 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A report generator for security vulnerabilities identified through Jira, a system for tracking work items. It creates a local HTML report with plain-language remediation guidance and supporting technical evidence for a specified product release or content channel.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to collect vulnerability tickets, verify fixed packages and matching images, and produce a standalone remediation report.
Why use it?
It brings ticket scope, package fixes, and matching base-image checks into one report instead of requiring separate manual searches. A CVE is a publicly recorded software vulnerability.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00071 $0.03021
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.01208
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00604
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00302

Security

Grade A, and why

aipcc-cve-report scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 9 executable files (assets/report.js, scripts/assess.py, scripts/collect.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AIPCC CVE report

Generate a fresh, local, standalone cve-report.html with the bundled scripts and assets. Lead with a plain-language remediation journey and keep technical evidence available for drill-down. Use the bundled renderer and collect the requested ticket scope afresh for each run.

Inputs and defaults

Accept literal JQL, one or more Jira keys, or a description of the tickets to find. Convert a description into a specific JQL query and state that query before collection. Ask for clarification only if the description cannot be mapped reliably. A description is not a package-name or fix-version authority.

When the user provides no ticket scope, suggest this query and give them a chance to adjust it:

project in (RHAIENG, RHOAIENG, AIPCC) AND labels = ecosystem:pypi AND component not in (Documentation, PXE, Devops, testops) AND issuetype in (vulnerability) AND status not in (Closed, Resolved)

Establish the user's target product release for the legacy model, or exact channel name for the channel model. Use user-provided or verified consumer context; ask for the target when it is missing. Do not assume a release or compare releases by default. For a channel-based product release, resolve the consuming component's channel mapping. Default the environment to CPU, CPython 3.12 and x86_64 unless the user specifies otherwise. Exclude legacy 3.5-stable. Check a validated RHAI base image's test index when that image is in development. Stable channel maturity is not the legacy 3.5-stable product index. Stable channels stay eligible for the report.

Release-model discovery

Read repository AGENTS.md and applicable CONTEXT.md before using each checkout. Resolve source locations at runtime; no checkout directory is assumed. Obtain the current Content Channels Guide, Release Content Delivery Policy, Consumer FAQ, index lifecycle and update policy from authorized team documentation. Resolve their repository or rendered URLs from the user or organization configuration. Do not embed restricted documentation URLs or private repository locations in this public skill. If access fails, report which policy could not be checked.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
