sf-b2b-apex is a skill for Claude Code from OrcaQubits/agentic-commerce-skills-plugins. It costs 66 tokens per session (2,280 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to server-side extensions for Salesforce B2B Commerce checkout using Apex, Salesforce’s programming language. It covers custom price, shipping, tax, and inventory calculations and the limits applied to each request.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to customise cart calculations, shipping, taxes, and inventory checks, and to write bulk-safe Apex implementations and tests.
Why use it?
It helps checkout customisations follow Salesforce’s extension interfaces and platform limits. It also covers the required automated test coverage for Apex code.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00066 $0.02280
Opus 5 $0.00033 $0.01140
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00456
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00228

Security

Grade A, and why

sf-b2b-apex scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Salesforce B2B Commerce Apex Extensions (CartExtension Namespace)

Before Writing Code

ALWAYS fetch live documentation BEFORE writing any Apex code:

  1. Web-search: "Salesforce B2B Commerce Apex developer guide 2026"
  2. Web-search: "Salesforce B2B Commerce checkout integration Spring 2026"
  3. Web-fetch official Salesforce documentation for:
    • B2B Commerce ConnectApi namespace reference
    • CartExtension namespace and AbstractCartCalculator class
    • Apex governor limits (latest release notes)
    • Test class requirements and best practices
  4. Web-fetch: https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.apexcode.meta/apexcode/
  5. Web-fetch: https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/commerce/salesforce-commerce/overview

Why this matters: Salesforce releases three times per year (Spring, Summer, Winter). Commerce APIs, CartExtension interfaces, and governor limits change. Live docs prevent using deprecated patterns.

Conceptual Architecture

CartExtension Namespace Overview

Salesforce B2B Commerce uses the CartExtension namespace to provide extension points for customizing checkout logic. Each calculator extends CartExtension.AbstractCartCalculator and overrides the calculate() method.

Extension Point Purpose Example Use Cases
PricingCartCalculator Custom pricing calculations Volume discounts, contract pricing, tiered pricing
ShippingCartCalculator Shipping rate determination Carrier integration, zone-based rates
TaxCartCalculator Tax calculations Avalara, Vertex, custom tax engines
InventoryCartCalculator Real-time inventory validation Warehouse checks, ATP calculations

Calculator Lifecycle

  1. Customer adds items to cart or initiates checkout
  2. Platform invokes registered calculator's calculate() method
  3. Calculator receives CartCalculateCalculatorRequest with access to the full cart
  4. Calculator reads cart items via request.getCart(), which returns a CartExtension.Cart
  5. Calculator performs business logic (SOQL queries, external callouts, computations)
  6. Calculator writes results back to cart items (prices, tax amounts, shipping methods, inventory status)
  7. Platform validates results and continues to the next checkout step

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
