specialist-routing

specialist-routing is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Oriolshhh/runware-image-mcp. It costs 17 tokens per session (618 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A method for choosing which specialist reviewers should examine a decision, based on its risks and scope. It keeps the review group focused while always including architecture and product perspectives.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assemble reviewers for technical, product, frontend, security, testing, deployment, or accessibility decisions.
Why use it?
It avoids wasting review effort and makes sure relevant concerns such as security, testing, operations, accessibility, or visual design are covered when needed.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00017 $0.00618
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00309
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00124
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00062

Security

Grade A, and why

specialist-routing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Specialist Routing

Purpose

Keep a review proportional to risk by convening only the specialists a specific decision actually needs.

When to use it

  • In /council after the decision brief exists, before independent review.

Instructions

  1. Read the brief's facts, constraints, and risk signals.
  2. Always include architecture and product reviewers.
  3. Add a specialist only when the brief shows a matching signal:
    • security — untrusted input, auth, secrets, filesystem/command execution, dependencies, generated-file ownership, untrusted instructions.
    • test — non-trivial behavior, compatibility risk, weak existing coverage.
    • operations — deployment, data migration, performance, infra, hard-to-undo.
    • ux — user-facing flows, accessibility, states, DX surfaces.
    • frontend design — new screens, visual redesign, brand expression, or hierarchy changes: add frontend-design-lead; add design-system-specialist when shared tokens/components or dependencies may change.
    • frontend verification — substantial interactive UI: plan independent accessibility-reviewer and visual-qa-tester acceptance; add motion-design-reviewer only when motion or gestures are in scope.
    • data / other — schema/migration/persistence or domain-specific risk.
  4. Size the council to the risk: trivial/low-risk changes get a minimal roster.
  5. Always include the devil's advocate for the challenge round.
  6. Record the reason for each inclusion and each exclusion.
  7. Apply model-routing to each selected role. Start from its frontmatter, escalate for task-specific ambiguity/risk, and keep synthesis at least as capable as the strongest judgment being reconciled.

Output format

A routing decision: risk profile (trivial/low/medium/high), selected specialists (each with an evidence-based reason, model tier, and effort), excluded specialists (each with why not), and confirmation of the challenge round.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
