from-stability-perspective

from-stability-perspective is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from OutlineDriven/odin-claude-plugin. It costs 38 tokens per session (591 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A read-only method for examining a change, design, system, or decision from the viewpoint of preserving a working system. It focuses only on stability and does not blend in other viewpoints.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assess whether a proposed change or decision could threaten the reliability or continued operation of an existing system.
Why use it?
It helps identify what could disturb an existing system while keeping the review focused on continued operation. The subject must be supplied by the user.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00038 $0.00591
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00296
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00118
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00059

Security

Grade A, and why

from-stability-perspective scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

From stability perspective

Contract

Field Bound contract
Trigger User wants an answer only from the stability seat (preservation of the working machine).
Authority Read-only. No file, VCS, credential, paid, published, deployed, or remote mutation.
Side effect A stability-perspective analysis emitted as chat output only.
Done A stability-perspective answer is emitted without blending other seats.

Not for

  • Rebuilding a design from primitives: use from-first-principle.
  • Blended multi-seat analysis: run each from-*-perspective seat independently and compare after.
  • Source or remote mutation: this skill is read-only.

Inputs

The subject under analysis (a design, change, system, or decision) must be supplied by the user. Outputs from other perspective lenses, if present, are inputs for later comparison only and must not be blended into this answer.

Procedure

  1. Confirm the subject is stated. If it is not, stop and request it; do not invent a subject. Done when: the subject is stated.
  2. Adopt only the stability seat: preservation of the working machine. Frame every judgment through what keeps the existing working system intact, reliable, and unbroken. Done when: the stability stance is stated.
  3. Analyze the subject strictly from this seat: identify what preserves or endangers the working machine, including regressions, load placed on proven paths, removal of working behavior, fragility introduced, and recovery lost. Done when: preservation and risk findings are listed.
  4. Do not blend other seats (business, impact, innovation, moat, breaking, rent-seeking, human, skeptic, codebase, career) into the answer. If another seat's concern surfaces, name it as out-of-seat and leave it for a separate lens run. Done when: no other seat's reasoning appears in the answer.
  5. Emit the analysis as chat output, bounded to stability reasoning and the concrete preservation or risk findings. Done when: the analysis is emitted and stands alone.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
