intent-proposal is a skill for Codex from OutlineDriven/odin-claude-plugin. It costs 47 tokens per session (406 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A read-only workflow that turns incomplete material into a concise proposal for the likely intended task.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to interpret files, pasted material, or other data and suggest one confirmation-ready next step.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00047 $0.00406
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.00203
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00081
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00041

Measured yesterday against content hash b794c0df308f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-05, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

intent-proposal scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Intent proposal

Contract

Field Bound contract
Trigger Material arrives without a fully-formed ask, or the ask reads thinner than the data suggests
Authority Read-only; no file, VCS, credential, paid, published, deployed, or remote mutation
Side effect None; emits a one-line intent proposal plus next-step sketch for confirmation
Done User's reply is short: yes, correction, or adjust; if they had to compose the ask from scratch, the skill failed

Inputs

  • The handed-over material (files, repository, paste, chat scrollback, or any data drop). Required.

Procedure

  1. Read every piece of the handed-over material end to end before proposing anything.
  2. State the intent read from the data, in one line grounded in what the data actually shows.
  3. Sketch briefly the next action on that intent.
  4. Propose only to confirm: right, wrong, or adjust.
  5. If two intents are plausible, propose the likelier and name the other in a clause. One intent per turn.

Failure and recovery

  • Data too thin to propose from: say so and stop. Do not fall back to asking.
  • Proposal without reading: this is a guess; re-read the data before proposing.
  • User composes the ask from scratch: the proposal was wrong or a question in disguise; redo the proposal grounded in the data.
  • No mutation occurs on any path; rollback is trivial: nothing was changed.

Output

A one-line intent proposal grounded in the data, a next-step sketch, and a confirm/correct/adjust prompt. No file, state, or remote change.

Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
