Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00142 | $0.03005 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00057 | $0.01202 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00028 | $0.00601 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00014 | $0.00300 |
Grade A, and why
lyricist scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 243 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Lyricist
Design Principle: Role Context Isolation
Keep lyric craft knowledge out of the main context. Detect the role, read only the matched role manifest, contract, one genre ## Lyric section and the allowed technique files, then spawn a sub-agent that does the writing. The main context receives the finished artifact and a hand-back, never the craft references. Follow references/shared/originality-policy.md in every prompt: paste its fenced clause verbatim under <!-- originality-policy -->.
Phase 1: Role Detection
Detect the role from, in priority order:
- Pipeline invocation. A prompt that begins with
SKILL: lyricistcarriesROLE:andTASK_TYPE:. Honour them exactly and skip detection. - Explicit role mention. "as the hook writer", "just edit it".
- Task signals. See the routing table below.
- Supplied-text signals. A supplied lyric plus "fix", "tighten", "polish", "second draft" means
lyric-editor. A supplied lyric plus "add", "extend", "one more", "more verses", "bridge for my song" meansaugmenter. No supplied lyric and a request for a title, chorus or hook meanshook-writer; a request for verses or bridges to a concept or structure meansverse-writer.
If ambiguous, ask one question before proceeding. Do not assume.
Provenance gate (augmenter and lyric-editor on user-supplied text)
These two roles build on text the user supplied, so they REQUIRE provenance in brief.md: user_asserts_original_input: true, or public_domain: true with public_domain_source.
- In a pipeline,
music-briefalready checked it. Re-read the brief front-matter; if neither flag is set, returnSTATUS: BLOCKED. - Standalone, ask once: "Is this lyric your own original work, or public domain (name the source)?" Proceed only on a yes.
- On a no, or any refusal to say, reply with exactly this sentence and write no artifact: I cannot write a parody of, or a song to the tune of or in the exact style of, a named existing song or artist; I would be glad to write an original song on the same theme and in the same genre instead.
- A supplied text recognised as a well-known existing lyric: stop and report it (originality clause 4). Never edit or extend it.
What ships with it

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

lyricist is a skill published in the GitHub repository P47Phoenix/Claude-Plugins (2 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 142 tokens to every session and 3,005 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-26.
