pandadoc-contract-register

pandadoc-contract-register is a skill for Claude Code from PandaDoc/mcp-server-guide. It costs 62 tokens per session (1,916 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A register of signed contracts built from PandaDoc's extracted document details. It lists parties, dates, value, and selected negotiated terms, while showing how certain each extracted value is.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assemble a contract register and review key terms such as audit rights, exclusivity, data-processing provisions, and service-level agreements.
Why use it?
It turns signed agreements into a searchable business record and makes uncertainty visible instead of presenting extracted values as confirmed facts.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00062 $0.01916
Opus 5.5 $0.00025 $0.00766
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00383
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00192

Security

Grade A, and why

pandadoc-contract-register scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

PandaDoc Signed-Contract Register & Key-Terms Extractor

A table of what has been signed, with whom, when, for how much, and on what terms — assembled from PandaDoc's own AI extraction.

Two things shape everything below: the extracted values are unconfirmed, and you cannot search by them.

Prerequisites

The PandaDoc MCP Server must be connected. Required tools: PandaDoc:documents_list, PandaDoc:documents_search, PandaDoc:documents_details_get, PandaDoc:documents_metadata_batch_get. If they are missing, say so and point at https://mcp.pandadoc.com.

There is no documents_metadata_get. Every metadata read goes through PandaDoc:documents_metadata_batch_get, which takes 1-40 IDs, so one document is a one-element document_ids. It also takes field_keys when you want only some of the fields back.

What extraction gives you, and what it costs

PandaDoc:documents_metadata_batch_get returns AI-extracted fields. Observed on a completed contract:

Counterparty name, Counterparty address, Counterparty signer name, Internal party legal name, Internal signer name, Agreement date, plus term checkboxes — Audit rights, Exclusivity, HIPAA / BAA, Include SLA, Most favored customer, Data processing addendum incorporated, Includes logo rights, Include special terms, Has referenced documents.

Three constraints that must reach the user:

  1. Every value carries acceptance_status, and it was pending on every field of every sample. That means AI-extracted and not human-confirmed. A register presented as fact when nothing in it has been reviewed is a liability in a legal context. Label it.
  2. Extraction runs only on completed documents, asynchronously. Every entry in the batch response carries its own status: ok, extraction_pending (retry after retry_after), internal_error (also retryable, for that document alone), extraction_not_started (the document is not completed yet), extraction_failed (terminal — contact support), not_found and access_denied. One unusable ID does not fail the whole call, so read the status per document.
  3. There is no monetary field. Contract value is not in metadata — it comes from PandaDoc:documents_details_get → pricing.total.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pandadoc-contract-register is a skill published in the GitHub repository PandaDoc/mcp-server-guide (2 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 62 tokens to every session and 1,916 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-16.
