pandadoc-renewal-radar

pandadoc-renewal-radar is a skill for Claude Code from PandaDoc/mcp-server-guide. It costs 90 tokens per session (3,131 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A report of signed contracts whose actual agreement end dates are approaching. It includes the counterparty, value, and time remaining, and separates contract renewal dates from the expiry of a signing link.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan renewal work and identify agreements that need attention before their term ends.
Why use it?
It prevents the signing-link expiry date from being mistaken for the date a contract renews or ends.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00090 $0.03131
Opus 5.5 $0.00036 $0.01252
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00018 $0.00626
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00313

Security

Grade A, and why

pandadoc-renewal-radar scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

PandaDoc Contract Renewal Radar

Which signed contracts are coming up for renewal, what they are worth, and how long is left.

The trap in this skill is which date you use. PandaDoc has three date concepts that look interchangeable and are not. Getting it wrong produces a list that is confidently about the wrong thing.

Prerequisites

The PandaDoc MCP Server must be connected. Required tools: PandaDoc:documents_list, PandaDoc:documents_details_get, PandaDoc:documents_metadata_batch_get. Useful: PandaDoc:documents_search to narrow by a date column, and PandaDoc:documents_content_get or PandaDoc:documents_summary_get as a last resort when a contract has no extracted term fields. If they are missing, say so and point at https://mcp.pandadoc.com.

There is no documents_metadata_get. Every metadata read goes through PandaDoc:documents_metadata_batch_get, which takes 1-40 IDs, so one document is a one-element document_ids.

Three dates, only one of which is a renewal date

Concept Where What it actually is
expiration_date / date_expiration / date_expired PandaDoc:documents_list, PandaDoc:documents_details_get, PandaDoc:documents_search The signing link's expiry. Set at send time — observed as date_sent + ~60 days. Meaningless once signed.
effective_date PandaDoc:documents_search filter column only When the agreement takes effect. Closer to what you want, but it is a start date, not an end date.
Agreement date PandaDoc:documents_metadata_batch_get, AI-extracted The date on the face of the contract. Also a start, not an end.

None of them is a renewal date. No document field holds a contract end date.

That does not mean you have to read the contract body. The term and the renewal behaviour are extracted into separate metadata fields — including one that is already a date — and the next section lists them. Read those first; the body is the last resort, not the first move.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pandadoc-renewal-radar is a skill published in the GitHub repository PandaDoc/mcp-server-guide (2 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 90 tokens to every session and 3,131 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-16.
