Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00049 | $0.00649 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00024 | $0.00324 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00010 | $0.00130 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00065 |
Grade A, and why
ux-search scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 69 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Search UX
Search is often the fastest path to content. A poor search experience is one of the most common reasons users churn from content-heavy apps.
Checklist
| Item | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Search discoverability | Search bar is visible on the home screen or one tap away. Never buried in a menu. |
| Recent searches | Last 5 to 10 queries are saved. User can delete individual entries. |
| Search suggestions | Autocomplete appears after 1 to 2 keystrokes. Debounced at ~300ms. |
| Filter and sort | Filter chips appear above results. Active filter count shown in a badge. |
| Empty state message | "No results for X" is paired with a spelling suggestion and related categories. General empty-state standards live in ux-error-handling. |
| Search scope indicator | UI makes it clear what is being searched ("Searching in Orders"). |
| Voice search | Microphone icon in the search bar. Uses platform speech recognition APIs. |
| Typo tolerance | Fuzzy matching handles common spelling mistakes gracefully. |
Patterns
Progressive disclosure: Show the top 3 results inline with a "See all" link rather than sending users to a full results page for every query.
Federated search: When the app has multiple content types, group results by type (People, Products, Documents) with clear section headers. Let users filter to a specific type if needed.
Blank state suggestions: When the search bar is empty, show trending or personalized suggestions rather than a blank box. This reduces the cognitive load of starting a search from scratch.
Zero-result analytics: Track every search that returns no results. These queries are a direct signal of content gaps or labeling mismatches.
Search scope clarity: If the search applies to a subset of content, say so upfront. Users who search in a filtered context and get no results often blame the app, not the active filter.
How to Review
When applying this checklist to a screen, flow, or codebase:
- Go through every checklist item and mark it Pass, Fail, or N/A — never skip items silently.
- Cite specific evidence for each finding: the screen, component, file, or line it applies to.
- Tag each failure with a severity: Blocker (breaks the experience), Major (hurts usability), or Minor (polish).
- End the review with the top 3 recommended fixes, ranked by user impact.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ux-search is a skill published in the GitHub repository parhamb/design-skills (23 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 49 tokens to every session and 649 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
