coograph: Skill for Claude Code

.github/skills/coograph-disable-multi-models/SKILL.md

coograph-disable-multi-models is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from paullukic/coograph. It costs 56 tokens per session (416 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A project setting change that turns off per-task AI model selection for Coograph. Afterward, every agent uses the model of the current session and the project stops suggesting model assignments.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when a project should use one session model for all agents or when per-task model suggestions are no longer wanted.
Why use it?
It removes unwanted model recommendations and makes model use consistent across agents. The setting can be changed back later with the model-suggestion workflow.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00056 $0.00416
Opus 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00166
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00083
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00042

Security

Grade A, and why

coograph-disable-multi-models scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You turn model selection off for this project. One step, no questions.

Why This Matters

An opt-in feature that cannot be declined cleanly is not opt-in. A user who does not want their agents split across models should be able to say so once and never hear about it again, and the answer has to survive a template sync.

Steps

  1. Set models.mode: off in openspec/config.yaml, creating the models block if it is absent. Leave any saved preset in place; it is harmless and means re-enabling does not start from nothing.
  2. Confirm in one line, naming the file.

That is the whole procedure. Do not ask for confirmation first: the user invoked a command whose only job is this.

What off means

  • No skill passes a model override. Every agent inherits the session model, exactly as a project that never opted in.
  • No flow suggests a mapping. coograph-new-ticket and coograph-plan do not ask.
  • The one-line model footer at the end of a delegated run still appears, naming the inherited model. It is the surface that tells a user their setting is being honoured, so it stays in every mode.
  • /coograph-suggest-multi-models is the way back. Running it re-enables the project.

Guardrails

  • Never delete the preset map. Turning off is not the same as forgetting.
  • Never touch anything else in openspec/config.yaml; that file holds the user's project context and rules.
  • Never change the model the user's own session runs on.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
