pn-ic-memo is a skill for Cursor from perniemann/pnCore. It costs 71 tokens per session (1,627 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An investment committee memo is a structured document for reviewing a proposed investment, acquisition, or follow-on decision. It brings together the situation, investment case, market context, financials, valuation, risks, expected returns, and open questions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to prepare approval materials for private equity, credit, corporate M&A, strategic investments, or internal equity research.
Why use it?
It turns scattered deal materials into a consistent document that decision-makers can review. It also makes missing information and unresolved risks visible.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00071 $0.01627
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00651
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00325
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00163

Security

Grade A, and why

pn-ic-memo scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

IC memo

When to use

  • Private equity or credit: preparing a new investment or follow-on for committee approval.
  • Corporate M&A: framing an acquisition or strategic investment for internal approval.
  • Equity research (internal): documenting the investment case before publishing.
  • Any context where a structured investment decision memo is required for stakeholder review.

Pre-requisites

Load get_skill("pn-fsi-analyst-discipline"). Confirm what was supplied: deal terms, financial model, market research, diligence notes, management presentation. State what is available and what is absent (absent sections will be flagged as "to be completed").

Instructions

1. Situation overview

One to two paragraphs:

  • Who is the company / target? Primary business, end markets, revenue scale, geography.
  • What is the transaction / decision? (New investment, follow-on, add-on acquisition, strategic exit, etc.)
  • What is the proposed structure? (Equity, debt, hybrid; ownership %; deal size.)
  • What is the timeline? (Expected close, IC approval deadline.)

2. Investment thesis

Three to five bullet points, each structured as: Hypothesis — supporting evidence — what must be true for this to hold. Be specific; avoid generic statements ("strong market position").

Example format:

Category-defining moat in mid-market ERP: Company has 92% gross revenue retention and 4-year average contract length in a segment where competitors average 2 years — moat is contractual stickiness, not switching cost alone. Holds as long as enterprise platform commoditization does not reach the mid-market within the hold period.

3. Market and competitive context

Pull from get_skill("pn-market-research") output if available, or summarize:

  • Market size and growth rate (cite source; flag [est.] if estimated).
  • Competitive tier the company occupies (leader / challenger / niche).
  • Two to three most relevant competitive risks and the company's counter-position.

4. Financial summary

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
