creative

creative is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from peteromallet/Arnold. It costs 0 tokens per session (609 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A compatibility mirror for the native Arnold API version 1.0. The description says it supports native mode but does not explain what functions it provides.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it only where compatibility with the native Arnold API version 1.0 and native mode is required.
Why use it?
The available information is too limited to identify a specific problem it solves beyond compatibility with that API version.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00609
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00244
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00122
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00061

Security

Grade A, and why

creative scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 12 executable files (__init__.py, pipeline.py, prompts/__init__.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 73 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Authority status (M11): Zero-authority history. All repair, audit, and deployment authority has been migrated to canonical delegation. This document is retained for reference only — it must not be used to materialize commands, grant authority, or drive automated actions.

creative pipeline — skill reference

Driver: compatibility mirror for the native canonical package Arnold API version: 1.0 Supported modes: native

This mirror delegates to arnold_pipelines.megaplan.pipelines.creative. New runtime and discovery surfaces should import the canonical package directly.

Purpose

Form-aware creative-writing pipeline. Accepts a --form (validated against megaplan.forms.available_form_ids()) and an optional --primary-criterion, then produces a finished creative artifact via a single prep→execute→critique →revise→finalize pass.

Native Order

prep (form-aware) → execute_creative → critique_creative → revise_creative → finalize
  • prep — form-aware prep; threads form and primary_criterion into stage state.
  • execute_creative — primary creative generation stage.
  • critique_creative — evaluates the draft against the form's criteria and primary_criterion.
  • revise_creative — applies critique feedback to produce the final draft.
  • finalize — wraps and emits the finished artifact; returns next='halt'.

Verdict semantics

The creative pipeline is single-pass — there is no gate loop. Routing is strictly linear:

Label Meaning
execute_creative prep done → begin creative generation
critique_creative generation done → critique
revise_creative critique done → revise
finalize revise done → finalize
(halt) finalize done → pipeline done

Robustness levels

The creative pipeline does not implement robustness levels. Depth is fixed (single pass per stage).

Forms

The --form flag selects a registered form from megaplan/forms/. Default form: joke. Available forms are returned by megaplan.forms.available_form_ids().

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

creative is a skill published in the GitHub repository peteromallet/Arnold (98 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 609 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-04.
