reorganise-comfy-workflow

reorganise-comfy-workflow is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from peteromallet/VibeComfy. It costs 60 tokens per session (1,197 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A layout-cleanup workflow for ComfyUI graphs, which are visual diagrams connecting image-generation steps. It improves readability while keeping the workflow's actual operations and connections unchanged.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assess a workflow, create a cleaned preview, and apply an approved layout change that moves, resizes, groups, colours, or annotates nodes without changing runtime settings or links.
Why use it?
It makes a messy graph easier to review or share without changing what the graph does.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00060 $0.01197
Opus 5 $0.00030 $0.00598
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00239
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00120

Security

Grade A, and why

reorganise-comfy-workflow scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Reorganise Comfy Workflow

Use this when the graph should become easier to review, share, or maintain, but the workflow semantics must stay unchanged. A JSON canvas is an input or presentation artifact; load the canonical Python bundle before judging semantic equivalence. This is a layout-only path: it may move, resize, group, color, flag, or annotate UI furniture, but it must not edit topology, node classes, links, widget values, prompts, runtime payloads, or generated graph state.

The explicit route is available now. Automatic main-flow integration is conservative: the default mode can suggest this skill after a successful functional edit, but it does not silently reorganise, auto-apply, or start a second edit phase.

CLI Path

Start with deterministic offline evidence:

vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --assess

Create a preview candidate before any write to the source workflow:

vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --preview --out cleaned.json

Preview writes sibling artifacts next to cleaned.json:

  • reorganisation_plan.json
  • reorganisation_report.md
  • reorganisation_metrics.json
  • structural_noop_evidence.json
  • reorganisation_preview_manifest.json

Apply only an existing preview manifest:

vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --apply --manifest reorganisation_preview_manifest.json --out cleaned.json

Replacing the source workflow is deliberately explicit:

vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --apply --manifest reorganisation_preview_manifest.json --replace-original

In-place apply preserves a sibling .bak. Apply refuses stale source graphs by checking the preview manifest source hashes and writes the exact previewed candidate instead of recomputing a new layout.

Useful options:

vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --preview --out cleaned.json --spacing compact
vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --preview --out cleaned.json --existing-group-policy preserve
vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --preview --out cleaned.json --force-regroup
vibecomfy reorganise workflow.json --preview --out cleaned.json --sidecar workflow.layout.json

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
