What is assignment-word?

A tool for inspecting and editing Microsoft Word .docx files with code. It can work with document text, placeholders, images, tables, headers, and footers.

Finding the structure of a Word document, replacing text, filling several placeholders from JSON data, inserting images, and filling table cells.

It removes the need to edit many Word files manually or guess where content is stored. Text replacement can preserve existing formatting.

Assignment Word Editor (docx_editor.py)

Programmatically edit Word (.docx) documents using python-docx. Supports text replacement (preserving formatting), batch placeholder filling, image insertion, and table data filling.
