Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
maitabi-bus-extractor scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Maitabi Bus Extractor Skill
1. Overview
This skill equips the Agent to act as a powerful curl/API extractor and connector for both mountain bus tours (毎日あるぺん号 - bus.maitabi.jp) and general travel/alpine trekking tours (毎日新聞旅行 - www.maitabi.jp). All operations work through direct HTTP requests without requiring MCP code.
2. 3-Layer Architecture
The extractor operates on a 3-layer pattern to separate parameter handling, network requests, and data parsing:
Layer 1: build_query(filters)
- Converts user-selected filters (JSON/Object format) into exact URL Query String parameters corresponding to Maitabi ID codes and travel types
- Maps human-readable filter names to internal query parameter IDs
- Handles default values and validation of parameter ranges
Layer 2: fetch_list(query)
- Issues GET requests to Maitabi endpoints using
curlor HTTP clients - Supports two base domains:
api.bus.maitabi.jpREST endpoints for mountain bus tourswww.maitabi.jp/api/v1REST endpoints for general travel tours
- Parameters are constructed from Layer 1's query string
Layer 3: parse_list(payload)
- Extracts and normalizes tour listings from JSON responses or HTML pages
- Maps raw API fields to standardized output format:
course_no/courseNo- Internal course numbercourse_cd/courseCd- Course code string (e.g.,S104C21)title/courseName- Tour titledate/saikouDate- Departure dateduration- Tour durationprice- Price in JPYstatus- Availability statusdetail_url- Link to tour detail page
- Includes pagination metadata
3. Domains & Supported Travel Categories
Maitabi covers two main domains with 5 travel category types (travel_type / travelType):
Domain A: Mountain Bus Tours (毎日あるぺん号 - bus.maitabi.jp & api.bus.maitabi.jp)
- Focuses on direct mountain access buses and mountain lodge packages
travel_type = 3
Domain B: General Travel & Trekking Tours (毎日新聞旅行 - www.maitabi.jp)
Focuses on guided mountain trekking, hiking, and travel packages across 5 categories:
travel_type = 1: 国内登山・トレッキング (Domestic Mountain Climbing & Trekking)travel_type = 2: 国内旅行・ハイキング (Domestic Travel & Hiking)travel_type = 3: 毎日あるぺん号 (Mountain Bus Tours) (cross-domain)travel_type = 4: 海外登山・トレッキング (Overseas Mountain Climbing & Trekking)travel_type = 5: 海外旅行 (Overseas Travel)
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

maitabi-bus-extractor is a skill published in the GitHub repository phonhay103/maitabi-mcp-server (0 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 89 tokens to every session and 2,125 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
