Use the Pi secure-development playbook
Use this skill when the user wants tenant- or repository-specific secure-development guidance from Pi Security for a concrete engineering task, or wants to record feedback about playbook guidance.
Tools
Development guidance (read-only):
pi_playbook_task_query- retrieves secure implementation guidance for a natural-languagetask; optionalslugselects the repository. This is the only Pi lookup for development guidance.
Optional threat-model context (read-only):
pi_knowledgebase_query- searches tenant knowledge (query, optional repositoryslug). Use only when threat-model context is genuinely necessary, at most once with a short non-sentence query. Never use it to supplement or retry development guidance.
State-changing, confirmation required:
pi_playbook_comment_create- records feedback when playbook guidance is wrong, stale, incomplete, or missing context. Inputs:feedback(required), plus optionaloriginalQuery,requestId,slug, andplaybookSlug(playbookSlugrequiresslugorrequestId).
Workflow
- For development guidance, first make the engineering task stable from the user's request and current repository evidence. If the intended outcome or scope is ambiguous, clarify it before calling Pi.
- Once the task is stable, call
pi_playbook_task_queryexactly once with the concrete task and the repositoryslugif the user identified one. - Apply guidance that directly covers the task, clearly attributed to Pi.
- If coverage is missing or only adjacent, state the gap and continue from the user's instructions and current repository evidence. Do not retry the playbook query, send a rephrased query, or fall back to
pi_knowledgebase_query. - Only when threat-model context is genuinely necessary and unavailable in current repository evidence, make at most one
pi_knowledgebase_querycall using a short non-sentence phrase. Keep this separate from development guidance; do not use it to compensate for missing or adjacent playbook coverage. - If the user reports the guidance is wrong, stale, incomplete, or missing context, offer to record feedback with
pi_playbook_comment_create.
