What is akf-trust-metadata?

A metadata format and command-line tool for recording where AI-generated or AI-modified files came from and how they were handled. It can store trust, source, classification, and compliance information in supported files.

Use it to read, inspect, stamp, classify, or audit metadata on documents, images, PDFs, code, and other AI-related files.

It gives reviewers and organizations a record of how a file was created or changed. That makes provenance checks and audits easier for areas such as the EU AI Act, HIPAA, SOX, and NIST AI guidance.
