Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00878
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00439
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00176
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00088

Security

Grade A, and why

anoa scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 80 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

anoa

anoa is the browser every Jonggrang agent drives — a single self-contained binary that carries its own browser, so there is no Playwright or Chrome download to wait for.

In the sandbox it is preinstalled. On a bare host, install it once with scripts/install-linux.sh from the anoa repo; if anoa is not on PATH, install it rather than reaching for another tool.

The one thing to know

The browser is a session. Start it once; every later command attaches to the running browser and leaves it running, so the page, cookies and scroll position survive between commands.

anoa --headless --port 9222 & # start it once
anoa open example.com # then drive it
anoa snapshot -i # see what is interactive, with @refs
anoa click @e2 # act by ref

anoa status reports whether a browser is listening; exit code 3 means none is — that, not a wrong command, is why anoa open would do nothing.

Load the full reference before working

The binary carries its own documentation, which is always in step with the installed version:

anoa skills get core # the workflow: start, snapshot, act by ref
anoa skills get commands # every command with its arguments

Read core before your first browser task in a session, and commands when you need exact syntax. Do not work from memory of another browser CLI — anoa is session-based, so one-shot recipes from other tools silently do nothing here.

What it is good for

Need Reach for
Does the page render, and how does it look anoa open, anoa screenshot [file]
What can I interact with anoa snapshot -i@refs
Responsive / dark mode check anoa set viewport <w> <h>, anoa set device, anoa set media dark|light
Read what the page says anoa get text [@ref] — cheaper than get html
Walk a flow anoa fill @e3 "…", anoa click @e7, anoa wait --url "/dashboard"
Why is the UI broken anoa console, anoa errors, anoa network

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

anoa is a skill published in the GitHub repository porcupine-md/jonggrang (11 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 878 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
