spk-doctrine-profile-load

spk-doctrine-profile-load is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Priivacy-ai/spec-kitty. It costs 30 tokens per session (276 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A procedure for loading a named Spec Kitty agent profile during an interactive session. An agent profile defines a role's identity, permissions, boundaries, and working defaults.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when a user asks the agent to adopt a role or when a session needs profile-specific rules before continuing a mission.
Why use it?
It avoids applying a role from incomplete or unverified configuration and ensures the session uses the requested governance rules.

About the project

Spec Kitty is an open-source command-line tool that turns product requirements into a repository-based workflow for AI-assisted software development. It stores specifications, plans, tasks, acceptance criteria, reviews, and merge decisions in Git while giving agents isolated git worktrees for parallel implementation. The catalogue add-ons support the project's workflows for coordinating agents and governing their work.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00030 $0.00276
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00138
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00055
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00028

Security

Grade A, and why

spk-doctrine-profile-load scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

spk-doctrine-profile-load

Use this skill when the agent needs a profile outside the runtime loop or the user asks to adopt a specific role.

Resolver-Backed Flow

  1. Identify the requested profile, action, and active Mission context.

  2. Resolve the profile through the CLI:

    spec-kitty agent profile show <profile-id>

  3. Load action-scoped governance:

spec-kitty charter context --action <action> --json

  4. Apply the resolved initialization declaration, specialization boundaries, directive and tactic references, collaboration handoffs, and mode defaults.

  5. Return to spk-run-next for Mission advancement.

Do not substitute a raw .agent.yaml read for resolution. A narrowly scoped read-only-harness fallback is documented in the reference below.

Legacy Alias

ad-hoc-profile-load is a compatibility alias that points here. This skill and its reference are the canonical authority.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
