corivo-save

corivo-save is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Principle-Labs/Corivo. It costs 27 tokens per session (628 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for saving durable information—such as facts, decisions, preferences, or project instructions—into Corivo, a local memory database for coding-agent conversations.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when the user asks the agent to remember something, after checking that Corivo is installed and initialized and showing what will be saved.
Why use it?
It keeps important context available for later work instead of relying on the current conversation alone.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00027 $0.00628
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00314
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00126
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00063

Security

Grade A, and why

corivo-save scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Corivo Save

Save durable information into the local Corivo memory runtime.

When to use

Use this skill when the user says things like:

  • "保存这个"
  • "记住"
  • "记下来"
  • "不要忘了"
  • "以后按这个来"

Use judgment. Prefer durable facts, instructions, preferences, and decisions over temporary chatter.

Memory annotation format

Use the annotation format:

性质 · 领域 · 标识

Nature

  • 事实
  • 知识
  • 决策
  • 指令

Domain

  • self
  • people
  • project
  • asset
  • knowledge

Execution flow

  1. Check whether Corivo is installed:
which corivo || echo "NOT_INSTALLED"

If Corivo is missing, tell the user:

[corivo] 首次使用需要安装 Corivo:

npm install -g corivo
corivo init
  1. Check whether the runtime is initialized:
corivo status

If it is not initialized, tell the user:

[corivo] 数据库未初始化,请先运行:corivo init
  1. Restate what you plan to save and propose an annotation.
  2. Save the memory:
corivo save --content "<content>" --annotation "<nature> · <domain> · <tag>"
  1. Confirm the result:
[corivo] 已记录:<brief summary>

Guidelines

  • Save only information that is likely to matter later.
  • Ask before saving if the content is sensitive or ambiguous.
  • Prefer a narrow, specific tag over a vague one.
  • Do not pretend memory was saved if the command failed.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

corivo-save is a skill published in the GitHub repository Principle-Labs/Corivo (5 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 27 tokens to every session and 628 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
