figma-comments-mcp: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/figma-comment-triage/SKILL.md

figma-comment-triage is a skill for Claude Code from processedfood/figma-comments-mcp. It costs 76 tokens per session (1,116 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of instructions for sorting Figma comment threads into actionable categories. Figma is a collaborative design tool where teams leave feedback on interface designs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing unresolved comments, finding mentions, filtering by page or topic, and presenting the required actions with links to the relevant threads.
Why use it?
It turns a large collection of design comments into a clearer list of work for the team.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00076 $0.01116
Opus 5 $0.00038 $0.00558
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00223
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00112

Measured 11d ago against content hash 3b38f3b54a70, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

figma-comment-triage scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Figma Comment Triage

You have comment threads from the Figma Comments MCP server (or are about to fetch them with one of its tools: get_all_comments, get_unresolved_comments, get_comments_mentioning_me, get_recent_comments). Sort every unresolved thread into the categories below and present them in this order.

Fetching cost rules

  • Use the narrowest tool that answers the question: prefer unresolved/recent/mentions over get_all_comments. Pass the page argument when the user names a page or shares a link with a node id, author when they ask about one person's comments, and search when they ask about a topic or keyword.
  • Tool output is compact text grouped by page → element, with thread ids in [brackets]. Resolved threads arrive as a count only; never list them individually.
  • Build deep links yourself from the header pattern: https://www.figma.com/design/<file>?#<thread-id>.
  • Long messages arrive truncated with "… (truncated)". Triage on what you have; do not re-fetch just to read the rest.
  • @mentions appear inline in the message text; the last line of a thread is its last speaker.
  • reply_to_comment posts a reply to a thread as the user (thread id from the [brackets]). Only use it when the user asks you to reply, and show them the exact text before or as you send it. It needs a write-scope token; if Figma returns a 403, tell the user their token is read-only.

Categories

1. Needs a decision

Threads where the team has to make a call before work can move. Two sources:

  • Explicit: someone asks "should we A or B", proposes a direction change, or pushes back on an existing choice.
  • Conflicts: the tool output groups threads by elementId. Within each element group, compare unresolved takes across threads and within threads. If two people argue opposite directions about the same element (bigger vs smaller, keep vs remove, colour A vs colour B), flag it as Needs a call, quote both positions with their authors, and link both comments.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
