froggo-mission-control: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/growth-experiment/SKILL.md

growth-experiment is a skill for Claude Code from ProfFroggo/froggo-mission-control. It costs 27 tokens per session (2,391 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Step-by-step process for designing, launching, measuring, and documenting a growth experiment — from hypothesis to results log.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00027 $0.02391
Opus 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00956
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00478
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00239

Security

Grade A, and why

growth-experiment scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Growth Experiment

Purpose

Design rigorous growth experiments that produce actionable, statistically valid results. Every experiment must have a clear hypothesis, defined success criteria, and documented learnings before it runs — not after. Guessing is not a growth strategy.

Trigger Conditions

Load this skill when:

  • Designing a new A/B test, multivariate test, or growth hypothesis
  • Evaluating whether an experiment has reached statistical significance
  • Documenting the results of a completed experiment
  • Reviewing an experiment backlog to prioritize what to run next
  • Auditing an in-flight experiment for methodology problems

Procedure

Step 1 — Write the Hypothesis

Every experiment starts with a formal hypothesis in this structure:

If we [specific change or intervention],
then [measurable outcome],
because [underlying mechanism or user behavior we believe is true].

Examples of strong hypotheses:

  • "If we add a one-click referral prompt on the post-trade confirmation screen, then referral sign-ups will increase by 15%, because users are most motivated to share immediately after a positive transaction."
  • "If we reduce the onboarding flow from 7 steps to 4 steps, then D1 activation rate will increase by 10%, because friction is the primary drop-off driver based on funnel data."

Anti-patterns to reject:

  • "We think the button color should be green." (No measurable outcome, no mechanism)
  • "Let's try making the CTA bigger." (No hypothesis, no success criteria)

Step 2 — Define the Primary Metric

Choose exactly one primary metric. This is the single number that determines whether the experiment wins or loses.

  • Must be measurable before the experiment runs
  • Must be attributable to the change being tested (not confounded by other changes)
  • Must be collected at the user level, not aggregate

Secondary metrics (guardrail metrics) are allowed but do not determine win/loss. They exist to catch regressions.

Primary metric: [metric name] — [how it is measured] — [current baseline]
Guardrail metrics:
  - [metric 1] — must not decrease by more than X%
  - [metric 2] — must not decrease by more than X%

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

growth-experiment is a skill published in the GitHub repository ProfFroggo/froggo-mission-control (2 stars, last pushed 6mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 27 tokens to every session and 2,391 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-07.
