nucleus-context

nucleus-context is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from protect-my-hair/nucleus-marketplace. It costs 41 tokens per session (677 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A context checker for Nucleus V2, a workflow system used inside coding agents. It validates required repository context and can discover context from explicit inputs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to validate or discover a workflow run, requirement files, repository paths, and required context before other Nucleus actions.
Why use it?
It prevents later workflow steps from continuing with missing, synthetic, or fabricated project and run information.

Skill for Claude CodeCodex

Written for Claude Code and Codex: shipped in a Claude Code plugin, but also agents/openai.yaml present. Also seen: mentions Claude Code; mentions Codex.

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is python3 skills/nucleus-context/scripts/Nucleus_context.py validate \.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00041 $0.00677
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00338
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00135
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00068

Security

Grade A, and why

nucleus-context scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 13d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/nucleus_context.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Nucleus Context

python3 skills/nucleus-context/scripts/Nucleus_context.py validate \
  --repo-root <target-repo> \
  --context <target-repo>/.nucleus/context/<workflowRunId>.json
python3 skills/nucleus-context/scripts/Nucleus_context.py discover \
  --repo-root <target-repo> \
  --mode standalone-assistant \
  --workflow-run-id <workflowRunId> \
  --workflow-id feature-development-prepare \
  --workflow-step context-validation \
  --provider codex \
  --primary-feature docs/features/<path>/feature.md \
  --requirement-solution docs/requirement/<req>/solution.md
python3 skills/nucleus-context/scripts/Nucleus_context.py build-blocked-result \
  --repo-root <target-repo> \
  --workflow-run-id <workflowRunId> \
  --workflow-id feature-development-prepare \
  --workflow-step context-validation \
  --blocker-code SCHEMA_VALIDATION_FAILED \
  --message "context 缺少必需字段"

输出

  • validate 成功:写 .nucleus/runs/<workflowRunId>/context-validation-gate.json
  • discover 成功:写 .nucleus/context/<workflowRunId>.json.nucleus/runs/<workflowRunId>/context-discovery-report.json
  • 缺 primary feature:写 .nucleus/runs/<workflowRunId>/context-candidate.json 和 blocked .nucleus/runs/<workflowRunId>/result.json,不写正式 context。
  • workflowRunId 且 repo root 安全:写 .nucleus/runs/wf-local-blocked-<timestamp>-<hash>/result.jsoncontextPath=null
  • repo root 不安全:stdout 输出 machine-readable blocked payload,非零退出,不写目标仓库。

失败策略

所有失败默认 ALERT_AND_BLOCK。不要用自然语言总结替代 result package。

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
