marketing-review

marketing-review is a skill for Claude Code from protomated/protomated-plugins-official. It costs 78 tokens per session (1,812 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A review tool for draft attorney marketing materials against the ABA Model Rules and configured state advertising rules. It flags wording for attorney attention, cites the relevant rule, and suggests a rewrite.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review website copy, advertisements, social posts, email campaigns, or responses to client reviews.
Why use it?
It helps identify advertising language that may need correction before publication. It does not confirm compliance or replace an attorney's final decision.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00078 $0.01812
Opus 5.5 $0.00031 $0.00725
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00362
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00181

Security

Grade A, and why

marketing-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

/marketing-review — Bar-Compliant Marketing & Ad Copy Reviewer

⚠️ AI-ASSISTED DRAFT — ATTORNEY REVIEW REQUIRED BEFORE USE Reviewed against ABA Model Rules 7.1–7.3 and the state rule references bundled with this skill. Does not confirm the copy is compliant, does not verify any factual claim in the copy, and does not file or submit anything to any state bar. Not legal advice.

This skill reviews a piece of draft marketing copy — a website page, ad, social post, or response to a client review — against ABA Model Rules 7.1–7.3 (reference/model-rules-7.1-7.3.md) and, for the state(s) the attorney configures, the state-specific advertising rules bundled in reference/state-variations.md.

This skill flags for review — it never clears copy for use. It does not tell the attorney a piece of copy "is compliant" or "passes." It points at specific language, cites the specific rule provision it may conflict with, and suggests a compliant rewording — the attorney makes the final call on every flag before the copy goes live.

Invocation

/marketing-review
/marketing-review [state, e.g. "Florida" or "FL and TX"]

Workflow

Step 1 — Collect inputs

The copy to review — read from text pasted directly into the conversation, or from the attached workspace folder if one is attached. If nothing is provided, ask the attorney to paste or attach it.

If more than one piece of copy is attached or pasted: ask which one to review, or whether to review all of them, before starting.

The state(s) to check against — ask which state(s) the attorney is licensed in or targets with this marketing, if not already stated in the invocation. This skill bundles reference coverage for five states: California, Texas, New York, Florida, and Illinois (reference/state-variations.md).

  • If the attorney names a covered state, apply the ABA baseline plus that state's section.
  • If the attorney names a state not covered here, say so plainly and apply the ABA baseline only — do not invent that state's specific rule numbers or provisions.
  • If the attorney is licensed or advertises in multiple states, run the copy against each configured state's section independently and note where flags differ by state.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
