blue-team-host-audit

blue-team-host-audit is a skill for Claude Code from Pusparaj99op/blackarch-AI. It costs 36 tokens per session (274 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A local security checklist for a Linux computer. It checks network listeners, firewall allowances, risky files, SSH settings, and installed package health.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review the hardening of a machine you control and save a pass/fail record of the results.
Why use it?
It helps find unexpected services, unsafe permissions, weak SSH settings, and package problems before they become security issues.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00036 $0.00274
Opus 5 $0.00018 $0.00137
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00055
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00027

Security

Grade A, and why

blue-team-host-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Blue-team host audit

Use this for a defensive self-check of this machine. Purely local — no scope check needed.

  1. Call audit_listening_ports — flag any listening port that isn't clearly allowed by the firewall rules shown alongside it.
  2. Call audit_suid_world_writable — flag any SUID binary or world-writable file that looks unexpected (a small known set is normal on Linux; call out anything unfamiliar).
  3. Call lint_ssh_config — report any finding against the baseline hardening ruleset.
  4. Call audit_pacman_packages — report orphan packages, pending updates, and any integrity check failures.
  5. Produce a pass/fail checklist summarizing all four areas, and write it to reports/host-audit-<date>.md (gitignored, never committed).
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
