Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00044 $0.01201
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00600
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00240
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00120

Security

Grade A, and why

ipogrid-ipo-research scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

IPOGrid IPO Calendar & Filing Research

Use IPOGrid MCP for filing-driven IPO research, market snapshots, chart-backed briefs, company analysis, comparable deals, and post-listing outcome reviews.

Connection

  • MCP endpoint: https://ipogrid.com/mcp
  • Documentation: https://ipogrid.com/docs#mcp
  • Default to no-auth access first for lightweight read-only research.
  • Use IPOGrid's OAuth 2.0 flow only when the task needs auth-only tools, richer company enrichments, full news content, or more than the anonymous quota allows.
  • Mention bearer-token or API-key configuration only as an optional advanced fallback.

Access Levels

Anonymous access is enough for market snapshots, public company lookups, basic watchlists, recent news metadata, and chart embeds.

Anonymous tools:

  • get_chart
  • list_companies
  • get_company
  • list_news

OAuth 2.0 access unlocks:

  • list_filings
  • list_outcomes
  • full-content news
  • richer get_company includes: consensus, financial_snapshot, filings, and comps

When anonymous access is insufficient, explain the specific blocked item and ask the user to continue with IPOGrid OAuth 2.0. Examples: "I can continue anonymously for charts and basic company data, but filing details and comparable deals require signed-in IPOGrid access."

Research Defaults

  • Prefer operating-company IPOs unless the user asks for SPACs, funds, follow-ons, or all active deals.
  • Use charts for market context before making broad market claims.
  • Treat SEC filings, deal terms, pricing, EFFECT/CERT notices, 424B filings, and trading starts as stronger signals than routine news.
  • Use comparable deals to ground expectations, but explain the similarity reasons and sample size.
  • Use cautious wording when samples are small, stale, or concentrated in one sector.
  • Do not force a spotlight or conclusion when IPOGrid data is thin.

Market Snapshot Workflow

  1. Call get_chart for gross_proceeds by sector over the last 26 weeks.
  2. Include the returned links.embedUrl when the user wants a visual or article-ready chart.
  3. Call list_companies for recent operating-company candidates.
  4. Summarize sector concentration, deal size, filing recency, and what changed recently.
  5. State any limitations if anonymous access caps the result.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
