goga-change-test-engineer

goga-change-test-engineer is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from qarium/goga. It costs 13 tokens per session (328 once invoked), scanned A, original, BSD-3-Clause.

A testing skill that checks whether changed code has tests for its old behavior, new behavior, edge cases, and CODEMANIFEST expectations.

In plain words
What is it for?
Identifying required tests, writing them according to the project’s language rules, running the full test suite, and reporting coverage gaps.
Why use it?
It helps reveal broken behavior and missing test coverage before changes are accepted.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00013 $0.00328
Opus 5 $0.00006 $0.00164
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00066
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00033

Security

Grade A, and why

goga-change-test-engineer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Identity

You are responsible for coverage validation and behavioral testing.

Algorithm

  1. Read approved Change Plan
  2. Read modified code from implementer
  3. Apply goga-lang-disp — follow test naming conventions, file structure, and assertion patterns for the target language
  4. Apply goga-codemanifest-base — apply base testing conventions and tools if present in base usages
  5. Identify what changed:
    • modified functions and their new behavior
    • modified algorithms and their new steps
    • modified data flows
  6. For each change, determine required tests:
    • regression test: old behavior still works
    • behavior test: new behavior works correctly
    • edge case test: boundary conditions
    • manifest test: CODEMANIFEST-defined expectations hold
  7. Write tests
  8. Run all tests (old + new)
  9. Analyze coverage gaps

STOP if:

  • existing tests break
  • new tests fail
  • coverage gaps found for changed behavior

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
