druckenmiller

druckenmiller is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from questflowai/investorskills. It costs 42 tokens per session (547 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A method for analysing large economic forces—such as interest rates, central-bank policy, money flow and currencies—to judge major market trades. It follows the trading style associated with Stanley Druckenmiller.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review currency, interest-rate, stock-index or commodity themes, assess the effect of central-bank policy and liquidity, compare price signals across markets, and think through concentrated trade risks.
Why use it?
It gives structure to decisions that can otherwise become guesses about many markets at once. It also stresses limiting losses when the market disagrees and taking larger positions only when the evidence is unusually strong.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00042 $0.00547
Opus 5 $0.00021 $0.00273
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00109
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00055

Security

Grade A, and why

druckenmiller scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Druckenmiller Macro

Use this skill to apply Stanley Druckenmiller-style macro judgment: identify the dominant factor, align with liquidity and market confirmation, concentrate when the setup is exceptional, and cut losses quickly when wrong.

When To Use

Use this skill when the user asks for:

  • Top-down macro trade analysis
  • Liquidity and central-bank regime review
  • Currency, rates, equity index, or commodity theme analysis
  • Whether to press a high-conviction winner
  • Risk management for concentrated macro positions

Trigger phrases include Druckenmiller, macro, liquidity, central bank, rates, currency, press winners, concentrated trade, and cut losses.

Do Not Use When

  • There is no clear dominant macro driver.
  • The trade has no liquid expression.
  • The user wants a low-volatility diversified allocation.
  • The setup is mediocre but the user wants oversized risk.

Inputs Needed

  • Macro theme or asset
  • Central-bank, liquidity, rates, currency, growth, and inflation context
  • Price trend and cross-asset confirmation
  • Consensus positioning and expected catalyst path
  • Current exposure and loss limit if sizing is requested

Process

  1. Identify the single dominant driver.
  2. Check whether liquidity, policy, and price action align.
  3. Compare the thesis to consensus and positioning.
  4. Define the cleanest liquid expression.
  5. Start with risk that can be cut quickly.
  6. Press only if the thesis is working and confirmation improves.
  7. Exit fast if the market rejects the thesis.

Output Format

# Druckenmiller Macro View: [Theme]

## Verdict
Press / Probe / Hold / Cut / Pass

## Dominant Driver

## Liquidity And Policy

## Market Confirmation

## Trade Expression

## Sizing And Risk

## What Would Prove Us Wrong

## Missing Data

Guardrails

  • Do not diversify away the edge when the setup is exceptional.
  • Do not concentrate in an unconfirmed or illiquid setup.
  • Do not let a losing macro view become an identity.
  • Do not fight price action indefinitely.
  • Cut quickly when the thesis is wrong.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
