harborclerk: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/verify/SKILL.md

verify is a skill for Claude Code from r0shi/harborclerk. It costs 29 tokens per session (300 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A local verification routine that runs a project's formatting, linting, type-checking, and test commands. It covers Python and frontend code and can also check generated documentation and other affected test suites.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it before commits or pull requests to check Ruff, ESLint, TypeScript, Prettier, Vitest, generated documentation, and relevant test suites.
Why use it?
It finds errors before a change is committed or sent for review. Running the same checks locally makes failures easier to diagnose than discovering them later in CI, the service that tests changes automatically.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00029 $0.00300
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00120
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00060
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00030

Security

Grade A, and why

verify scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Verify

Run the full local CI check suite and report results. All commands run from the repository root.

Steps

  1. Run Python checks:

uv run ruff check . 2>&1 && uv run ruff format --check . 2>&1

  2. Run frontend checks:

    (cd frontend && npm run lint 2>&1 && npm run type-check 2>&1 && npm run format:check 2>&1 && npm test -- --run 2>&1)

  3. Report a summary:

    • Python lint: pass/fail (show errors if any)
    • Python format: pass/fail
    • ESLint: pass/fail (show errors, ignore warnings)
    • TypeScript: pass/fail (show errors)
    • Prettier: pass/fail (show files that need formatting)
    • Vitest: pass/fail (show failing tests)
    • Overall: PASS if all green, FAIL if any errors

CI additionally verifies generated docs (uv run python -m scripts.gen_docs --check) and runs the test suites; run those too when the change touches tools, routes, models, stages, compose services, or tested code.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

verify is a skill published in the GitHub repository r0shi/harborclerk (3 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 29 tokens to every session and 300 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-17.
