r3bl-open-core: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/create-pr/SKILL.md

create-pr is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from r3bl-org/r3bl-open-core. It costs 14 tokens per session (193 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A procedure for pushing local code changes to GitHub and opening a Pull Request, which is a request for others to review and merge changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to verify a clean branch, push it to GitHub, create a pull request from the commit history, and report the resulting link.
Why use it?
It provides a repeatable release path and checks that the local working area is ready before creating the review request.

This is r3bl-org/r3bl-open-core's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on r3bl-open-core itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything r3bl-open-core configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00014 $0.00193
Opus 5 $0.00007 $0.00097
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00039
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00019

Measured 8d ago against content hash 2206c8f27611, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

create-pr scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Create PR Workflow

Use this skill when the user explicitly invokes /create-pr or asks to create a PR from their local branch.

The Workflow

Step 1: Ensure Clean State & Push

  • Verify the git working tree is clean. If not, ask the user to commit or stash changes.
  • Push the current branch to origin using git push -u origin HEAD.

Step 2: Create the Pull Request

  • Create a PR using the GitHub CLI: gh pr create --fill.
  • This automatically uses the commit messages to populate the PR title and body.

Step 3: Next Steps

  • Tell the user the PR has been created and provide the link if available.
  • Remind the user they can use the /merge-pr slash command when they are ready to merge it into main.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
